Friends of good Tarkov content,

first of all: the Announcement Trailer video hit over 1300+ views in less than 2 days. We honestly did not expect that. Thank you for that.

This is the start of a small info series where we will explain:

• •how Season 1 will work
• •why it is intentionally very short
• •what we have planned overall

Season 1 will start, as already announced, on May 1st. However, this season will only run for 4 weeks.

Why?

We want to move to a fixed quarterly rotation:

• •Q1: January - March
• •Q2: April - June
• •Q3: July - September
• •Q4: October - December

Since we are starting Season 1 in May, this season is intentionally only a 4-week season.

This gives us the opportunity to:

• •test the season system live
• •quickly identify and fix issues
• •further expand and improve the system

This is basically our "live test season" before everything moves into a proper quarterly cycle.
