⚖️ Balancing Changes
Weapon Attachments
Stats of most weapon attachments have been adjusted:
- •Muzzle devices
- •Magazines
- •Grips
- •Buttstocks
Goal:
Reduce the gap between high-tier attachments and rarely used ones.
Muzzle Devices
- •Flash hiders and muzzle brakes now reduce recoil more effectively
- •Suppressors now have less impact on recoil
- •Ergonomics penalties of suppressors have been reduced
Goal:
Create meaningful choices when building weapons
→ Better recoil control = muzzle brake
→ More stealth = suppressor
Magazines
- •Magazine bonuses and penalties standardized
- •High-capacity magazines now have less impact on ergonomics
- •Load, unload, and check speed modifiers adjusted
Magazines that are the only option for certain weapons
(e.g. machine gun box magazines)
now have significantly softer penalties.
Grips & Buttstocks
- •Stat differences between attachments have been reduced
- •Late-game attachments still slightly outperform budget ones
- •The gap is now significantly smaller
Goal:
Allow players to build weapons based on preference instead of strict meta.
